Mrs. Betty Jean Haight Obituary (1923 - 2016)

Betty Jean Haight, 92, of Murrieta, CA, formerly of Russellville, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Murrieta Gardens Assisted Living in Murrieta. A daughter of Marvin Montgomery and Leanah Cousar Williamson, she was born May 15, 1923, in Pope County, Arkansas. Betty and Harvey F. Haight Sr. were married on July 9, 1944, in Russellville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey Haight Sr.; a son, David Gene Haight; and sisters, Mary Dickinson, Hazel McNutt and Virginia Morrow. She is survived by three sons, Harvey F. Haight Jr. and his wife, Susie, of Gold Canyon, AZ, Michael K. Haight and his wife, Lisa, of Wildomar, CA, and Jeffrey S. Haight and his wife, Colleen, of Madison, AL; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Jo Haight of Port Angeles, WA; grandchildren, Heidi Ganahl of Superior, CO, Patrick Haight of Desert Hot Springs, CA, Laura Michelle Haight of Santa Ana, CA, Nicole Eckas of Loveland, CA, Joelle Haight of Lake Forest, CA, Jeffrey Haight Jr. of Madison, AL, and Andrew Haight of Madison, AL; great-grandchildren, Tori, Hollie, Jack and Jenna Ganahl, all of Superior, CO. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, April 18, 2016, at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville with the Rev. David Morrow officiating. Burial will be at Shiloh-Williamson Cemetery under direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, on Sunday, at the funeral home.
