Mrs. Beulah E. Bittle Obituary (1919 - 2018)

Beulah E. Bittle, 99, of Ola, died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Dardanelle Nursing Center in Dardanelle. The daughter of Washington Cleveland "Clete" and Ola English Denison, she was born July 14, 1919 in Nimrod. She was 1937 graduate of Danville High School and married Coy Bittle on May 3,1941 at Nimrod. Beulah worked as a nursing assistant for many years at Ola Nursing Home and later Yell County Hospital and also with Green Thumb program at Ola High School. She enjoyed flower gardening, especially tending to her roses, she was an excellent cook and an avid reader. She was a member of the Ola United Methodist Church. She was preceded by her parents; husband, Coy M. Bittle; and a son, Dennie Bittle; and granddaughter, Charlene Johnson. She is survived by 2 sons, John (Marie) Bittle, Russellville, James (Vicki) Bittle, Russellville; 2 daughters, Mary Earley, Independence, MO; Lynn Grindel, Middletown, DE; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, August 10, 2018, at Ola United Methodist Church and under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 am at the church. Rev. Lonnie Landers will officiate. Burial will be at Carter Cove Cemetery in Plainview.
