Billie Langford Bailey Obituary (1928 - 2016)

Billie Langford Bailey, 88, of Russellville, died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. The daughter of John and Para Jane Dixon Langford, she was born June 13, 1928 in Biscoe. She and Charles Tennyson Bailey were married on December 16, 1949 in Russellville. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, vegetable gardening and canning and attended the Mill Creek Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tennyson Bailey; her parents; a son, Michael Bailey; a great grandson, Marshall Bailey; sister, Theda Smith. She is survived by her son, Mickey Bailey and his wife, TerryRose, Jacksonville; daughter-in-law, Susan Bailey Sorrels and her husband, Joe, Russellville; grandchildren, Michelle Whitlock and husband, Jonathan, Russellville, Scott Bailey, Russellville, Anna Bailey, Russellville, Mark Bailey and wife, Jessica Ryan, Conway, Matt Bailey and wife, Mary Kate, Houston, TX; great grandchildren, Erica and Ethan Whitlock and Jordan Bailey. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, October 24, 2016 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Jonathan Whitlock will officiate. Burial will be at Bailey Family Cemetery in Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm, on Monday, at the funeral home.
