Cleveland "Junior" Otho Reasoner Jr Obituary (1941 - 2017)

Cleveland "Junior" Reasoner, Jr., 76, of Pottsville, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville, AR. The son of Cleveland Otho Reasoner, Sr., and Mary Ella (Minor) Reasoner, he was born August 4, 1941, in Russellville. He attended college at Arkansas Tech University. He married Linda Sue (Hamaker) Reasoner, on September 21, 1961, at Dardanelle, AR. He was a Maintenance Supervisor with City Corp. His greatest accomplishments were the special relationships he enjoyed with each of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family members and friends. He was a member of the Pottsville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed hunting & fishing, and building & racing stock cars. Junior was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda Sue Reasoner of Pottsville; his son, Cleve Reasoner, III (Laurie) of Overland Park, KS; a daughter, Mary Lynne Hawkins of Pottsville; a brother, John C. Reasoner of Fort Worth, TX; an aunt, Cora Sue Minor Whitaker of Dardanelle; six grandchildren, Marisa Bale (Forrest), Dylan Hawkins (Sara) and Hunter Hawkins (Mary Ellen) all of Russellville; and, Madison Reasoner, Mallory Reasoner, and Bryce Reasoner, all of Overland Park, KS; and five great grandchildren, James Bale, Peter Bale, Solomon Hawkins, Emmett Hawkins and Hazel Faye Hawkins, all of Russellville. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Pottsville A.R. Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Howard Wheeler and Rev. David Downum officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Friday, at the funeral home.
