Mrs. Juanita Hendrix Obituary (1936 - 2016)

Juanita Hendrix, 79, of Dover, died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. The daughter of Oscar and Cordelia Standridge Miller, she was born October 15, 1936 in Dover. She and Edward Hendrix were married on July 16, 1956. She loved gardening, cooking, canning and working on the family farm. She was a member of the Phoenix Free Will Baptist Church on Buck Mountain and was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; sisters, Pauline Underwood, Alma Burris, Bernice Ketcherside and Wilma Hurst, and her brothers Herbert Miller and Bill Miller. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Brown and her husband John Bassham of Dover, granddaughter, Traci Stokes and husband, Shannon of Dover, grandson, Brent Brown ofDover and two great grandsons Blake Brown and Reid Brown of Russellville; Siblings, Rheba Hunter of Sperry, OK, Allene Shockley of Mt. George, and James A. Miller of Atkins, and one sister in law, Anna Robbins, and husband Doyle of Dover. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Terry Duvall and Rev. Shannon Stokes will officiate. Burial will be at Phoenix Cemetery in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
