Mrs Mary Jo Parker Obituary (1934 - 2017)

Mary Jo Parker, 82, of London, passed away, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at her home. A daughter of William and Blanche Holyfield Baughman, she was born December 16, 1934 in Hattieville. She was a Russellville High School graduate. She married Arval Lee Parker, on March 12, 1955 at London, Arkansas. She was a Homemaker. Mary Jo's accomplishments included being loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She attended Martin Chapel Assembly of God. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, gardening, canning, sewing, crafts and spending time with church family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary Jo is survived by her husband of 62 years, Arval Lee Parker, two daughters, Mary Riddell (Michael) of London and Rheba Crotts (Gary) of Lamar; four grandchildren; Cathy Rushing (Michael); Lori Clark (Darrell); Jonathan Crotts (Lacey) and Joseph Crotts (Stephanie) all of Lamar; 11 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and a sister Ollie Ruble of London. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Jerry Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be at East Point Cemetery in Russellville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
