Mrs. Patricia Jean Garrigus Obituary (1927 - 2016)

Patricia Jean Johnson Garrigus, 89, of Hector, AR, passed away, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Legacy Heights Nursing Home in Russellville, AR. A daughter of Oscar and Isabell Carey Johnson, she was born April 6, 1927 in Pueblo, CO. She was a graduate of Centennial High School. She was retired from ConAgra. She was loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed crafts, collectables, the arts including ice-skating and ballet, and bowling in her younger days. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Burl Garrigus; her parents; an infant daughter, Mary Francis Garrigus; two sisters, Eileen Ivey and Ruth Curtis. Survivors include three sons Michael Garrigus and wife Judy of Taylorsville, UT; Richard Garrigus and wife Judy and Joe Garrigus and wife Becky of Hector, AR; one daughter Claudia Garrigus of North Little Rock, AR. Six grandchildren Nicholas Garrigus; Jessica Danielson and husband Matt; Patrick Garrigus of Taylorsville, UT; Zach Garrigus and wife Brittany of Benton, AR; Brittany Burris and husband Kyle of Russellville, and Brooke Garrigus of Hector, AR . Six great -grand children and a sister Gerri Tucker of Burbinese, IL. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Rock Springs Cemetery. Her grandson Zachary Garrigus will officiate. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
