Russell A. Hoffman Obituary (1930 - 2016)

Russ A. Hoffman Jr, 85, of Dardanelle, died Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Dardanelle Nursing Center in Dardanelle. The son of Russell and Florence Senith Sr., he was born October 27, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY. He and Annie Brock Hoffman, were married on November 9, 1994 at Pottsville, Arkansas by her father, Brother James M. Brock. He was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II and a heavy equipment operator with Stanley Tools. He was a member of the First Free Will Baptist in Dardanelle where he had served on the resolution committee. He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry and was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Daniel Rowland, a daughter, Penny Rowland; two brothers, Raymond and Bobby Hoffman; two sisters, Gloria Krout and Marie Hollenbaugh. He is survived by his wife, Annie Hoffman, Dardanelle; five daughters, Russtina Green(Tony), Benton, Tammy Edwards(Jeff), Little Rock, Jackie Dorrell(Cody), of Hot Springs, Nancy Daily(Mel), Markham, TX, Linda Roberts, Wilkesboro, NC; five sons, Russell Hoffman III(Rachel), Hot Springs, John Hoffman(Teresa), York, PA, sons, Bryan Hoffman(Linda), Etters, PA, Jeffrey Hoffman, Windsor, PA, Darrell (Mary) Rowland, Lexington, OK; daughter-in-Law, Kelly Rowland Beam, Dardanelle, special family, Ricky(Kathy) Rowland, Dardanelle; 31 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Humphrey Chapel. Burial with military honors will be at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle by Humphrey Funeral Service.
