History & Staff

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

Our History

In 1933, Guy Gardner founded Gardner
Funeral Home. After Mr. Gardner passed away, Herman & Kate Humphrey purchased the funeral home in 1960. Working for over 57 years, Herman was associated with over 11, 750 funeral services before his death in 1997. Today, Jim Bob & Betty Humphrey own and operate the family business.

In August, 1974, the Humphrey family moved the firm from its South Denver location, to its current location at 2801 West Main Street, to better serve our growing area.
