Berniece Ragsdale, 83, of Russellville, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. The daughter of John and Bessie (Alsbury) Mulder, she was born July 5, 1935 in Prairie View, KS. She married Joe Ragsdale on January 2nd, 1959 at Pleasant Grove. She was a member of the Russellville Christian Center.
Berniece was a loving and supportive Christian wife and mother. She was good-hearted and always there for her family by being loving, strong, righteous, and dependable. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, camping, spending time with family and most especially spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Gloria Sindt.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Joe Ragsdale of Russellville; two sons, Michael Joe Ragsdale (Julie) of Herriman, UT and David Ragsdale (Tena) of Russellville; two brothers, John Mulder (Margaret) of Columbia, TN and Ralph Mulder (Barbara) of Russellville; one sister, Shirley Williams (Joe) of Russellville; six grandchildren, Lacy Bliss Nevenschwander (Matt) of West Jordan, UT, Casiddi Jo Ragsdale of Herriman, UT, Jorie Rae Hayes (Rob) of Tucson, AZ, Shyanne Rose Anderson (Damian) of Magna, UT, Will Ragsdale (Jordan) of Russellville, and Lauren Allinson (Michael) of Russellville; 11 great-grandchildren, Luke Edwin Allinson, Haley Anderson, Branson Anderson, Payton Anderson, Cadence Neuenschwander, Kendyll Falkner, Tayler Falkner, Brooklynn Hayes, Jace Hayes, and Jamieson Anderson; and one great-great grandson, Sterling Anderson.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, May 17, 2019 at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. Pastor Susan Allen will officiate. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery in Dover. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11AM, on Friday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Will Ragsdale, Michael Allinson, Robby Sims, Joe Williams, Tyler Weaver, and Ronny Ketchum. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
