Brooklynn Marie Eden, 15, of Dover, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at her home in Dover. The daughter of Trinity and Scott Ross, and Travis Eden, she was born Dec. 19, 2002, in Russellville. She was a student of Dover High School. Brooklynn was a talented flutist, color guard member of the Dover Midnight Brigade Band, eCybermission (STEM) competitor, a Dover High School Student of The Month, member of the Tri-M National Music Honor Society and Shooting Sports Manager for eighth Grade Girls Basketball. She was a member of the Dover United Methodist Church and active in the Youth Group. She enjoyed drawing, band, cooking, listening to music, her pet cat Oliver and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lonnie Eden; great-grandmother, Shirley Ferguson; and great-grandfathers, Carl Dodson and Paul M Chisum.
Survivors include her mom and dad, Trinity and Scott Ross; brother, Noah Eden, all of Dover; father, Travis Eden; aunt and uncle, Christy and Lonnie Eden; cousins, Lindsey and Blake Eden; grandmother, Cindy Eden; grandparents, Paul and Julie Chisum, all of Russellville; grandfather, David Ross; great-grandparents, Martin and Sandra Ross, all of Dover; great-grandparents, Donna and Clovis Qualls; great-grandmother, Beatrice Chisum of Dover; great-grandmother, Perilla Dodson of Deer; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Visitation for students and faculty will be held from 5-6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, at the funeral home. Regular visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God in Dover. Reverend Heather Sprinkle and Reverend Jack Pledger will officiate. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service. Pallbearers are Andrew Ross, Yuosiph Skowron, Lonnie Eden, Travis Williams and Eric Bunch.
