Clara Lavada Williams, 80, of Dover, passed away peacefully December 2, 2018, at home. She was born April 2, 1938, in the Bullfrog Valley community to William and Laudra Freeman. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Roy Williams, four brothers, and two sisters.
Clara was known as "Granny Clara" to all that knew and loved her. She was devoted to her family and her faith in God, a loyal member of Lee's Chapel Church. She cared deeply for her family and loved to cook Sunday lunch for them. She was active in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as they were the pride and joy of her life.
Clara will be lovingly remembered by her children, Paul Williams and wife, Stephanie; Thomas Williams and wife, April, of Dover. Six grandchildren, Michael Williams and wife, Caitlin of Florence, SC; Colton Williams and wife, Brooke of Pottsville; Carlee Schmitt and husband, Jackson; Robyn Williams, Chance Stines, and Chase Stines, of Dover. Four great grandchildren, Levi Schmitt, Aubree Stines, Riley Williams, and Kohen Schmitt. Her brother, Clyde Freeman and sister, Katie Williams, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 10am, Thursday, December 6th, 2018 at Lee’s Chapel Church in Dover. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery in Bullfrog Valley by Humphrey Funeral Service. Bro. Dewayne Holland and Bro. Bob Freeman will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Michael Williams, Colton Williams, Jackson Schmitt, Chance Stines, Chase Stines, Donnie Hull, and Donnie Harmon. Honorary pallbearers are members of Lee's Chapel Church.
