Estella Ferris, 68, a resident of Russellville, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at the River Valley Hospice House in Russellville.
She was born November 13, 1948, at Pottsville, to Ted and Angie Ross Vick. She worked several years for National Home Center and attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed using her drimel tool, arts and crafts, house work and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Charles Ferris; a sister, Mary Lou Dates; and a brother, John Vick.
Survivors include two daughters, Anita Wilson of Adona and Tracy Edding of Dover; two grandchildren, Katie Grable of Perry and Cory Grable of Perryville; three great-grandchildren, Macie, Bentlie and Aidan Grable, all of Perryville; her fiancé, Greg Sturgeon of Russellville; two brothers, Don and Ted Vick, both of Pottsville; and other relatives and friends.
There will be a family conducted memorial service at a later date. Burial will be in Bells Chapel Cemetery at Atkins. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
