Floy Eulean Brown, 94, of Russellville, formerly of Hector, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at St. Mary's Reg. Med. Center in Russellville. The daughter of John and Jenny Bell Ross Goates, she was born April 16, 1924 in Scottsville. She was a graduate of Hector High School and a Cook with Hector Public School. Eulean was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Eulean was a member of the Hector Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, reading, baking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, infant grandson, Carrell Hanna III, four brothers, James, Walton, Carl, and D.L. Goates and three sisters, Ruby Sikes, Mickey Langley and Angie Dickey.
Eulean is survived by her husband, Donald Brown of Russellville; a daughter, Jeanne Laymon of Hector; two granddaughters, Carlotta Hanna of Russellville; Natalie Hill (Dustin) of Russellville; six great grandchildren, Victoria Roberson, Kyler Roberson, Brock Hill, Anna Grace Hill, Dylan Hill, Katelyn Hill and a special niece, Sue Hill.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, March 15, 2019 at Hector Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Terry Latham and Rev. Ellis McCuin will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, on Friday, at the Church.
