Frances Elizabeth Quessenberry, 98, of Russellville, formerly of Dover passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at St. Mary's Reg. Med. Center in Russellville. A daughter of Orville and Ruby Audrey Walker Gilbert, she was born September 22, 1920 in Wynne. She was a Homemaker. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Union at Wynne Baptist Church, a Sunday School Teacher for teen girls for 15 years and a member of The Home Demonstration Club. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dover and formerly a Member of Wynne Baptist Church for 70 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking pictures, was an avid Bible reader, letter writer and enjoyed Bible studies. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Gilbert Quessenberry; her parents; three sisters, Maurine Sanders, Betty Parkhurst and Laverne (Bootsie) Burt and a son-in-law, Eulas Rentfro.
Frances is survived by a daughter, Nancy Rentfro of Dover; a grandson, Paul David Rentfro (Lisa) of Knoxville; a granddaughter, Cindy Reynolds (Daryl) of Vilonia; a great granddaughter, Molly Riggs (Jeffrey) of Conway; a great grandson, David Rentfro (Jen) of Mount George and a great-great grandson, Lance Riggs of Conway.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at First Baptist Church. Bro. Jeff Paxton will officiate. Burial will be at Pollard Cemetery in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Monday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Dover Building Fund, 149 SR 164 E Dover, Arkansas 72837.
