Janet Lee (Fields) McCaslin, 84, of Russellville, died Thursday, December 27, 2018, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. A daughter of Clifton R. and Dora (Niemeyer) Fields, she was born February 26, 1934, at Ludwig, in Johnson County Arkansas. During her working years, she was a bookkeeper with the International Shoe Factory, the Quality Rentals of Russellville. She faithfully served in the Sunday School Bible Teaching ministry of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville. Janet enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, watching old movies, and was a member of TOPS and the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R.D. (Dave) McCaslin; seven brothers and two sisters. Her survivors include two sons, Jim A. McCaslin; and Don G. McCaslin (Jamie), both of Russellville; a daughter, Brenda K. Cluck (Damon) of Sherwood, AR; three grandsons, Phillip McCaslin of Russellville; Hayden Cluck and Aiden Cluck, both of Sherwood, AR; a granddaughter, Annabel Cluck of Sherwood, AR; a sister, Bernice Church of Russellville; two brothers, Freddy Fields (Anna Jane) of Russellville; and Lee Roy Fields (Carol) of Dover; and several nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be Sunday, December 30, 2018, 3:00 – 5:00 PM; with funeral services on Monday, December 31, at 2:00 PM, both at Humphrey Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Pearce will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
