Rex Allen Humbarger, 92, departed Sunday, April 7, 2019, at his home in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The son of Allen and Hazel Humbarger, he was born September 10, 1926, in Muncie, Indiana. He spent 8 years in the US Navy and received training that helped with his career at Indiana Bell. He married Betty Sue Chambers on February 1, 1974, and gained 3 step children. He and Betty started a horse riding stable in Florida when he retired from Indiana Bell. Later in full retirement, they moved to Hot Springs where he lived out the rest of his life. He was a born-again, Spirit-filled Christian and knew that he would be greeted in heaven by those that had gone before him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Miriam Streich, Eleanor Hotmire, Emogene Smith, and Rachel Hotmire and a grandson, Eric Bewley.
