Curtis Hayden Partin ,55, of Dardanelle, passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
The son of Harold and Patricia Tucker Partin, he was born June 19, 1963 in Little Rock. He was a 1981 graduate of Dardanelle High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Agri Business from Arkansas Tech University in 1985.
Curt founded and operated P&T Farms in the Gum Springs Community. Prior to owning his poultry farm, Curt worked for Wayne Poultry as a field rep. Over the years, Curt was recognized as "Grower of the Year" several times. In addition to his poultry houses, Curt operated an extensive cattle herd. He enjoyed checking his cows with his faithful blue heeler, Daeg, who was always by his side.
A man with a quiet spirit, Curt filled his days working hard on his farm and was a devoted caretaker of his parents. He was a baptized believer of Jesus Christ, and was a member of the Dardanelle church of Christ.
He is survived by his father and mother, a brother, Brian Partin (Terri), sister, Lori James (Rick), nieces and nephews, Derrick James, Meredith James, Turner Partin and Carlee Partin, all of Dardanelle.
A family service will be held at a later date. Donations in Curt's memory can be made to the Dardanelle church of Christ. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
