Ethel May McDonald, 88, of Russellville, formerly of Dover, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. The daughter of Charley and Abbie Simmons Rackley, she was born August 7, 1929 in Scottsville. She was a Housewife. Ethel was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She attended
Dover First Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time
with family, going to church, cooking, gardening, quilting and giving to
others. She was preceded in death by her first husband Eddie Harris, Second Husband John McDonald; parents; a son, Homer Harris and an infant daughter, Edna Carol.
Ethel is survived by a daughter, Abbie Harris (Charles); a son, Don Harris (Bonnie); nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, July 23, 2018 at Humphrey
Chapel. Rev. Robert Heflin will officiate. Burial will be at Phoenix Cemetery in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, on Sunday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home, 220 John Babish Lane, Russellville, AR 72801. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation and Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home for the love and support shown them and Ethel.
