The daughter of Otto and Gracie Webb, she was born June 4, 1931, near Dover. Gracie's mother passed away in childbirth, therefore Gracie was named after her mother and given the name Gracie Ladel, often called Della by friends & family in North Little Rock. She was raised by her father and grandparents in the Dover area until she was seven years old. Gracie moved to North Little Rock, to live with her maternal grandparents, John & Ella Armburst and attended school at Riverside Elementary; and, graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1951. Her grandparents, John & Ella, were founding members of that church.

She married William "Gene" Ferguson, on March 29, 1969, at North Little Rock, AR. Gene & Gracie met in Hot Springs during job training, both working for UALR and ATU until their retirement. They then moved to Russellville to be near family. They were faithful members of the First Assembly of God, Russellville, and dearly loved all their friends there. Among the things she enjoyed most in life was embroidery.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, John & Ella Armburst of North Little Rock, AR. Gracie is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, William "Gene" Ferguson, of Russellville; a Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law, Herb & Linda Ferguson of Russellville; four cousins, Ruby Shacklin of Conway, Darlene Lantrip of Scott, Jo Ann Kitta of Sherwood, and Lynn Welsh of North Little Rock.
