James Paul Jeter of Hayden, AL passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2016 at the age of 45. He was a loving and devoted husband, a father who loved his children and had the new role of "pops" as a granddad. He adored his granddaughter, Zelly and grandson, JT. He will be greatly missed.
Paul was a graduate of Red Level High School. He was a former police officer and a welder by trade. He worked his way through the field of the Nuclear Industry and became a Project/Site Manager for Williams Plant Services of Atlanta. He was a PMP and CW1 and excelled in his field of work. Paul was a member of Fultondale First Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Bonnie Jeter. He is survived by his wife, Cristy Howse Jeter; brother, Donnie Jeter and wife, Amy and children, Tyler and Mackenzie; children, Kaitlyn Jeter Beam (CJ), Cole Jeter, Ryan Moss (Alex), Catee Moss Buckner (Jordan), Riley Moss, Rusty Moss; grandchildren, Zelma Moss and Jarrett Buckner; In-laws, Ed and Betty Howse and extended family and friends.
