Jenna Elizabeth Lovejoy

August 2, 1984 ~ April 30, 2016 (age 31)
Jenna Elizabeth Lovejoy, was born August 2, 1984, in Russellville, Arkansas, to James M. "Jim" and Kereigh Foster Lovejoy. She died April 30, 2016, at Maumelle, Arkansas, of the liver failure she was born with. Doctors told her parents that she would most likely live for only a few months. But she fought to live for the next 31 years. Her battle ended with her surrounded by family and loved ones.

She was a 2002 Graduate of Hector High School and attended Arkansas Tech University. Her desire was to be a marine biologist. That dream was never realized but a portion of her cremains will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, in accordance with her wishes.

Jenna loved swimming and all things related to the water, and she loved people and helping others. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ where she was baptized by her adoptive father on February 25, 1998.

Preceding her in death are her sister, Shenna K. Lovejoy; great grandfathers, James E. "Jim" Lovejoy, Bert Killins and V. B. Smith; great grandmothers, "Mom" Mary Miller, Lucille Roberds and June Foster.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth "Ellie" Fugate and Ellie's birth father, Chad Fugate; Ellie's adoptive parents, Kevin and Linda Fugate and their daughter, Nikki; birth father, Jim Lovejoy; birth mother and her husband, Kereigh and Walter Roberds; adoptive parents, Frank and Carleen Foster; grandparents, Mike and Virginia Lovejoy; great grandmothers, Viola Thompson, Louise Lovejoy, and Jean Smith; brothers, Jeffrey and Joseph Roberds; sister, Brenda Foster; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Also surviving is special friend, companion, caregiver and advocate, John A. Diaz.
