Mrs. Johnnie Marie Fougerousse

Johnnie Fougerousse, 76, a resident of Russellville, died Monday, February 27, 2017, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 29, 1940, in Pope County to John Elmer and Margie Marie May Faucett. She was a graduate of Morrilton High School and married Joe Fougerousse on September 4, 1958, in Morrilton. She was a homemaker and a member of Connect Church, formerly First Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and Bible study, and most of all, loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Joe Fougerousse of Russellville; a son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Traci Fougerousse of Rogers; two daughters, Kim Fougerousse of Bella Vista and Kelly Olson of Russellville; four grandchildren, the Rev. Dustin and Heather Olson of Ada, Oklahoma, Drew and Kristi Olson of Russellville, Alex Fougerousse and Cori Fougerousse, both of Rogers; five great-grandchildren, Asher, Owen, Jaxon, Adalynn, and Benjamin Olson; a brother and sister-in-law, Eddie Ray and Barbara Faucett of Lowell; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda Sue Givens of Benton and Diana and Johnny Crites of Russellville; and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Atkins City Cemetery with the Rev. Dustin Olson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
