Linda Sue Steuber, 73, of London, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at her home in London. Linda was born November 29, 1944 in Morrilton, AR a daughter of Jeff and Jewell Bolden Butler. Linda was a graduate of Russellville High school and Arkansas Tech University. She married Bobby Steuber, on November 22, 1963 at Russellville. Linda's work career spanned from her first job, working for Jack Lowrey at the theatre making 25 cents per day, to telephone operator and finally a nurse with St. Mary's Regional Medical Center until retirement after 35 years of service. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she loved to attend Sunday School with her flock of grandchildren. Linda was an avid reader, a collector and a fantastic cook. Family was very important to her, she said she was "Born to be a grandmother, and could always be found cheering for the kids and grandkids and all kinds of events. Linda was the #1 supporter and heart and soul of her family. Linda was admired and respected by all that knew her. Linda spent a lot of time helping others better themselves thru education.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a step mother, Irene Butler and a brother, Billy Jeff Butler.
Left to cherish Linda's memory is her husband, Bobby Steuber, three daughters, Susan (Brian) Moorhouse, Jane (J.D.) Ivey and Kathleen Smith all of London; 10 grandchildren, Joseph Smith (Amisha),Brandy Standridge (Mike) both of London, Ashley Burdin (Dustin) of Damascus; Blake Ivey (Lauren), Alyssa Ivey, Taleese Smith, James Moorhouse (Madison), Jordan Myers (Zachary), Shayla Smith, Samantha Moorhouse all of London; 14 great grandchildren Ashton Byrd, Gabriel Hankins, Braelynn Freeman, Wyatt Hankins, Jayden Wood, Delainee Ivey, Blaine Myers, Jaron Moorhouse, Bear Smith all of London; Joshua Burdin of Damascus; Haylor Ivey of London; Josiah Burdin of Damascus; Arianna Myers, Bunny Su Smith and a special friend, Dorothy Birkhahn all of London.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
