Margaret Turner Bell

January 31, 1919 ~ February 10, 2017 (age 98)
Margaret Turner Bell, 98, of Russellville, formerly of Hughes, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Russellville Nursing & Rehabilitation in Russellville. The daughter of Thomas and Willie Mae (Coleman) Green, she was born January 31, 1919 in Memphis, TN. She worked as a bookkeeper with the Hughes School District for many years. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ in Russellville.

Margaret enjoyed playing bridge, reading traveling and was especially proud of her family and their accomplishments. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bell; her parents; her son, Thomas Coldren who died in the Vietnam War; and her siblings, Dorothy Green Grafton, Thomas Green, Mildred Green Shaw, Nona Ash, and Gladys Jones.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Ken Turner and wife Molly of Russellville; two grandchildren, Nathan Turner and fiancé Breanna Lott of Fresno, CA and Emily Turner Wesley and husband Zac of Pottsville; two great-grandchildren, Grady and Magnolia Wesley; niece, Ann Adams and husband Jerry of Russellville; two nephews, Oscar Grafton and wife Glenda Faye of Vanndale; Jack Jones of Hughes; and daughter-in-law, Dot Coldren of Starkville, MS.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the support and care of Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation, Arkansas Hospice, River Valley Assisted Living, and Russellville Family Clinic.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:30PM, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.
