Paschel H. "Pank" Waldo, 70, a resident of Dover, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at his home.
He was born August 10, 1946, near Dover to Noel Eugene and Kathryn Wornica Waldo. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam War and retired as a Master Gunnery Sargent. He enjoyed his retirement and spent some time raising Great Danes and Mini Doberman Pinchers. He enjoyed classic country music and spending time with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Angie Waldo; a brother, Ronald Gene Waldo; a sister, Mary Lou Snizek; and a niece, Kathy Baird.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Royann Waldo of Dover; three grandchildren, Landen, Larren and Lucy, all of Dover; an aunt and uncle, Martha Rea and James Burchfield of Sikeston, Missouri; a brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Rachel Waldo of Conway, South Carolina; nephews and nieces, Tony and Angela Waldo of Dover, Lisa and Brad Graves of Hector, Bobby Baird of Dover, Ginger and Philip Jacob of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Brandy and Matthew Bruce of Charleston, South Carolina; and other relatives and friends.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date at Owens Cemetery near Dover. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
