William "Lynn" Harrison

December 22, 1943 ~ February 4, 2018 (age 74)
William "Lynn" Harrison, 74, of Russellville, died Sunday, February 4, 2018, at his residence. The son of Guy and Ola Myrtle Bishop Harrison, he was born December 22, 1943, in Sierra Blanca, TX. After serving 22 years with the United States Navy, Chief Petty Office Harrison retired and worked as an engineer with Crafton-Tull. He was a member of the Rogers-Rye VFW Post #2283 and enjoyed fishing, camping, building things, working on AutoCad, welding and metal work. His pride and joy of life was his
grandson, Rylan.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Chasity Vargo (Kevin) of Van Buren; his grandson, Rylan Vargo of Van Buren; and a nephew, Chris Anderson (Paula) of Leander, TX.

A graveside funeral service and burial by Humphrey Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Ft. Smith National Cemetery with full military honors. James Bonds will officiate. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm, on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 1620, North Little Rock, AR 72115.
