Mr. Woodrow Samuel Tucker

Woodrow Samuel Tucker, 84, of Russellville, died Saturday, March 26, 2016
at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville. The son of Homer and Nancy
Anna Elsey Tucker, he was born July 6, 1931 in Vinita, OK. He attended Arkansas
Tech University and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Woodrow worked for Firestone for 28 years as a tube repairman.

He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America and the Riggs-Hamilton Post of the American Legion. He enjoyed gardening and camping and attended the First Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nova Joyce Tucker, and a sister, Edith Franklin.

He is survived by 2 sons, Bill Tucker and wife Donna, Dover, James Tucker, Clarksville; 3 daughters, Linda Jackson, London, Mary Hopper and husband Morrie, Russellville, Annette Koch and husband Jeff, Inez, TX; 15 grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; a brother, James "Pedro" Tucker, Kinta, OK; a sister, Jo Ann "Sally" Kinslow, Earlsboro, OK.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Humphrey
Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Morris and Rev. Bud Avants will officiate. Burial will be
at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Full military honors will be provided by the Rogers Rye Post #2283 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Monday, at the funeral home. Internet obituary and on-line guest book are available at
