Erma Nicholas Obituary (1926

Erma Nicholas, 87, a resident of Russellville, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at her home. She was born May 8, 1926, at Fort Douglas to William Columbus and Nancy Ellender Phillips Rutledge. After graduation from Dover High School, she married James Kenneth Nicholas on August 8, 1944, at Bullfrog Valley. She worked as a nurse's aide for many years and attended the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2011; and two brothers, Alva and Kerm Rutledge. Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Lee Price of Russellville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Truman and Pat Nicholas of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Larry Dean and Martha Nicholas of Owasso, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Larry E. Nicholas, Chris Price, Scott Nicholas, Candace Nicholas, Sarah Nicholas, Toni Phillips and Kelly Nicholas; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Annie's Chapel Cemetery in Hagarville. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. PDF Printable Version
