Jared Robert Guthrie Obituary (1980

Jared Robert Guthrie, 26, of Russellville, AR, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. The son of Randy and Sharon Sanders Guthrie, he was born March 12, 1980 in Clarksville, AR. He attended Arkansas Tech University. He was a Carpenter employed by Smoke Construction. Jared was also a member of the Fair Park Baptist Church in Russellville. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ernest Guthrie; maternal grandfather, Laz Sanders; one uncle, Doug Guthrie. Jared was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish with his friends and family. Survivors include his parents, Randy & Sharon Guthrie of Russellville; one brother, William Jason Guthrie of Russellville; paternal grandmother, Gorgie Guthrie of Calico Rock; maternal grandmother, Patricia Sanders of Mt. Home; four uncles, Ronnie Guthrie & wife Betty of Calico Rock, Eddie Guthrie & wife Betty of Mt. Home, Ricky Sanders & wife Patty of Dolph, Randy Sanders of Dolph; nine cousins, Deana Taylor, Tanya Wood, Susan Sexton, Heather Dearing, Matthew Guthrie, Brandon Sanders, Tyrel Sanders, Kelsey Sanders, and Ryan Sanders. Funeral will be at 2:00p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Humphrey Chapel. Brother Rick Balentine will officiate. Casket bearers will be Chris Renfro, Matt Graybill, Jimmy Hawkins, Matt Moore, Brad McEowen, Dan Woods, Will Turnispeed, and Wes Smith. Final resting place will be at Spring Mountain. Visitation will be Friday 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
