Agnes Jane Fry, 87, of Russellville, died Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville. The daughter of William and Mary (Robinson) Rippe, she was born November 14, 1932, in Detroit, MI. After marrying Robert Fry on February 14, 1981, she became a full-time homemaker for their family.
Agnes enjoyed dancing and teaching others how to dance. Vocabulary enriched her life beginning at a young age when she won a city-wide spelling bee in Michigan, and continued throughout her life as she spent many hours working crossword puzzles. She worshipped in the Methodist faith and loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband of 34 years, Robert Fry; and her brother, William Rippe.
She is survived by her two sons, Brian Hurley (Tonya) of Russellville; and Dale Hurley (Nikki) of Little Rock; a daughter, Catherine Wolsey (Dennis) of Waterford, MI; her granddaughter, Stephine Williams; three grandsons: Grant Hurley, Benjamin Coon & William Bingley; six great grand children; and a sister, Alice Cook of Punta Gorda, FL.
