Betty Louise Rackley, 81, of Russellville, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Baptist Medical Center in Fort Smith.  The daughter of Woodrow and Pauline Josephine (Franklin) Davis, she was born August 3, 1939, in Oxnard, California.

Louise was a homemaker, but also worked 15 years in food preparation with the Russellville School District.  She was a member of the ARDOT Retirement Association where her late husband worked.  She was a faithful member of the Maple Springs Free Will Baptist Church where she served as the Sunday School Secretary and Church Pianist.  She enjoyed cooking, piano music (gospel & hymns), and spending time with grandchildren & family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Norman Glyn Rackley; and two sisters, Linda Schiermeyer and Josephine Davis.

She is survived by her son, Perry Rackley (Lorie) of Dover; her daughter, Gwen Dorrough (Gary) of Dardanelle; three grandsons: Carlin Rackley, Davis Dorrough & Lucas Dorrough; her granddaughter, Andrea Whitbey (Chad); three great grandchildren: Abby Eakin (Tyler), Nicole Whitbey and Parker Whitbey; a great great granddaughter, Eden Louise Faith; a step great grandson, Cloud Eakin; four sisters:  Lorene McDonald, Gerri Davis, Lois Ross & Lula Harmon (Bill); and many other relatives.

A private family funeral service will be held at Humphrey Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 9, with a live-stream beginning about 1:45PM for friends.  Burial will be at Ball Hill Cemetery under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service with Rev. David Downum officiating.  Memorials may be made to The Gideons International Processing Center, P.O. Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251.
