Obituary

David Charles Sullivan, 70, of Dover, Arkansas, formerly of Redding, California, died Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at his home.  Cremation arrangements were made at the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.  Cremains will be interned at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery in Igo, California.

The son of Charles and Dorothy Marie (Moss) Sullivan, David was born December 26, 1951, in Burns, Oregon.  He married Christine Bryant Sullivan, on October 16, 1999 at Redding, California.

David was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Christine Sullivan of Dover; three sons: Kolin Taze Sullivan (Jessica) of Sacramento, CA, Zackary Bryon Sullivan of Dover, and Jesse Wayne Lindle of Severiville, TN; a daughter, Maria Michelle Morris (Jesse) of Dover; four grandchildren: Chloe Marie Sullivan, Raylyn Vaughn Morris, Freya Jan Sullivan, and Hunter Blaine Morris; and a brother, Allen Sullivan.

He was a United States Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War era, and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, acting as Commander for the Redding, California VFW Post #1934.  He enjoyed riding on his Harley-Davidson and participating each year in the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally with over 50,000 other riders.  David was a carpenter by trade.
