Emma “Jean” Lewis, 82, of Russellville, died Sunday, August 16, 2020, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The daughter of Willie and Emma Florence (Jones) Jones, she was born August 7, 1938, in Austin, Texas.
Jean was an excellent seamstress and spent most of her working years in crafting her skill. She worshipped with her faith family at the First Baptist Church of London, AR. In her earlier years, she loved to dance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Lewis ; her parents; and one grandson.
She is survived by her six daughters: Crystal Deatherage of Russellville; Paula Roland (Chuck) of Avondale, PA; Teresa Hardin (Doug) of Wittier, CA; Joni Feringa of Long Beach, CA; Debbie Price (Eddie) of London, AR; and, Angie Taylor of California; her sister, Wilhelmina “Wilma” Taylor (James) of Knoxville, AR; her brother, Richard Lee Jones-Wilson of Georgia; 16 grandchildren, and many other relatives.
