Genelda Ruth Osburn, 80, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Dover. The daughter of Irvin and Maggie (Howell) Bartlett, she was born May 11, 1939, in Appleton. She was a homemaker and her greatest accomplishments were being a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Assembly of God and enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Osburn; her parents and a brother, Dewayne Bartlett.
Genelda is survived by five children: Darrell Osburn (Elizabeth); Debra Rust (Lea Matchett); Ruth Day (Eugene); Karen Brown (Dennis) all of Russellville; and Katina Osburn (April Farris) of Dover; nine grandchildren: Travis Osburn (Amanda); April Osburn; Danny Flanery (Grace); Lonnie Byrum (Lucinda); Shawn Rust; Charles Kiggins (Nikki); Rose Day Holland (Tracy); Marsha Giddeon (Jerrod); Samantha Day; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; three sisters: Patsy Pledger (Jackie); Hazel Burris; Bobbie Coffman; and a brother, Paul Bartlett (Cathy).
A private family graveside will be held at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Rev. Jackie Pledger will officiate. Internet obituary and on-line guest book are available at www.humphreyfuneral.com.
