Glenville "Sleepy" Hill, 77, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. The son of Nathan Hill and Geneva Watts, he was born January 8, 1943 in Richland. He married Sarah Rebecca Drewry Hill, on October 6, 1962 at Russellville. He was a Dry Kiln Supervisor with Bibler Lumber Company. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Woodlawn Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting deer and bear, fishing, going to the cabin, watching westerns and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Darvin Milam and his wife's parents, JB and Clauselle Drewry.
Glenville is survived by his wife, Sarah Rebecca Hill; two sons, Christopher Glen Hill (Rhonda); Nathan Silas Hill (Stephanie); two grandsons, Jared Hill (Payton); Drew Hill; a granddaughter Kelsey Lee Hill Self (Devin); three great grandchildren all of Russellville; two sisters, JaeAnn Hightower of Tonasket, WA; JanaLee Black of Hebo, OR; two brothers, Jim Hill (Shirley) of Cloverdale, OR and John Hill of Lincoln City, OR.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Humphrey Chapel. Bro. Jerry Burris and David Wait will officiate. Burial will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday afternoon at Witts Springs Cemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, on Monday, at the funeral home.
