Irene Lintern Taff, 80, of Russellville, died Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Humphrey Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Heflin officiating. A private committal service was held in the new Chapel of Light at the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center in Russellville.
The daughter of William and Florence Mae (Baker) Lintern, she was born September 23, 1941, in Hertfordshire, England.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; her husband; a daughter, Deb Shaver and a grandson, Brandon Shaver.
She is survived by her two daughters: Jackie Hill of Carbonado, Washington; and Lynn Russell of Russellville; a son, Steven Austin of Russellville; 13 grandchildren: Kimberly Rana, James Austin, Heather Knight, Nick Harsson, Tamara Spearman, Travis Spearman, Christina Davidson, Holly Davidson, Lachelle Johnson, Amanda Horton, Ashley Wohaska, Devin Russell & Adam Shaver; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Irene was a homemaker. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed gardening and travel.
