June was a member of the Casa Church of Christ. She was a devoted college basketball fan and avid supporter of the Lady Razorbacks. Outside of basketball season, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was kind and compassionate and loved by all who knew her. She was a strong, independent woman and the matriarch of our family. All were welcome in her home at any time, day or night. Most importantly, she always made us laugh, prayed for us continually, and made sure that we knew we were loved.
The family would like to thank Dr. Maneetha Kodali for her care over the past few years, as well as Arkansas Hospice for helping us to honor June’s wish to remain at home in her final days.
Funeral Service will be Monday, March 15, at Humphrey Chapel. Burial will be at Casa Cemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service. Come and go viewing will be 12-4 PM, on Sunday, at the funeral home. Internet obituary and on-line guestbook are available at www.humphreyfuneral.com
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Casa Cemetery (P.O. Box 124, Casa, AR 72025), Southern Christian Home, or the charity of your choice.
