Kiness Rye went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 8, 2021. She was born July 10, 1920 to Clayton and Clara Jolley in Lamar. She married the love of her life, the Reverend Jesse “JB” Rye on March 20, 1937.
Kiness worked in the ministry alongside her husband and was a member of Russellville First Assembly of God church and the Women’s Missionary group. She was faithful to go the extra mile to help her loved ones! She always shared Jesus with every nurse, doctor and person that attended to her.
Kiness was an accomplished seamstress and an excellent cook! She and her husband worked in the orchards and garden, preserving the fruits of their labor and blessing others with the excess!
Kiness was preceded in death by her parents, a step-father, HO Foster; brothers Clarence and Francis Jolley, Ed and Millie Jolley; a sister, Ruby Davis; and a son-in-law, Roger Woodall.
Left to cherish her memory are a daughter LaDonna Woodall; step grandchildren, Mark Woodall and Keri Moye; great grandchildren: Kirby Woodall, and Charlie and Abby Moye; one sister, Ruth Lem; brothers-in-law, Bill Davis and Bus and Virginia Rye; a sister-in-law, Shirley and Ed Lemley; and many nieces and nephews that encompass three generations!
