Shirley Harrell, 83, of Russellville, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Russellville Nursing & Rehab in Russellville, AR. The daughter of Randolph and Edna Creason Taylor, she was born August 29, 1937 in Lake City, AR. Shirley’s legacy and her greatest joy in life is the wonderful family she created. She was a member of the Charity Baptist Church. Shirley enjoyed spoiling grandbabies and when she wasn’t busy doing that, she could be found crocheting, working on puzzle books, and cooking her famous pumpkin rolls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, Eddie Lee Harrell and James Hamm. Brothers Floyd Taylor, Kenny Taylor, and sister Nelda Taylor.
Shirley is survived by her two sons Jimmy (Rechel) Harrell of Russellville; Robert (LaChrisha) Harrell of Pottsville, a daughter Mona (Michael) Manning of Clarksville. Grandchildren: Randy Stinnett of O’Fallon, IL; Heather Kozon of Sandwich, IL; Jimmy K. Harrell of Newport News, VA; Katelyn Harrell of Atkins; Franky Facun of Fort Huachuca, AZ; Makayla Harrell of Russellville; Andrew Harrell, and Danny Parker of Pottsville. Six Great Grandchildren: Elian Chavez, Paisley Kozon, and Stevilyn Kozon all of Sandwich IL; Killian Harrell of Newport News, VA; Adrian Harrell of Russellville; Brody Parker and Kamdyn Parker of Pottsville; One sister, Betty Lauppe of Oak Grove, LA and one brother, David Taylor of Johnson, KS.
A Family Graveside Service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Steve Hett will officiate. Internet obituary and on-line guest book are available at www.humphreyfuneral.com.
